A photo of a teenager seen praying over a homeless man in downtown Baltimore has gone viral.
The photo was taken Tuesday afternoon by Eric Gaines, a University of Maryland, Baltimore police officer, who shared the image on Facebook.

Gaines told ABC News that while patrolling the area, he saw several people pat the homeless man down, and thought the teenager would do the same. He instead kneeled down and began to pray for the man, nearly missing his bus while doing so.
“It was a powerful moment,” Gaines told ABC News. “Everyone who saw him in the area was moved.”
