BALTIMORE - Officials have identified the three victims of the fire that destroyed a row home in the Curtis Bay, according to a department spokesman.
Steve Henderson, 23, Aniya Burnside, 4, and Avery Henderson, 1, were killed by the fire. They died of smoke inhalation and thermal burns, according to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, according to Baltimore Fire Department spokesman Ian Brennan.
One person managed to escape the fire by jumping out of the house from the second floor. The person was transported to Shock Trauma with life-threatening injuries.
Firefighters responded to the 4100 block of Grace Court in Curtis Bay just after 4 a.m. Saturday. Ten people were displaced by the fire.
