The Navy elite jump team, Leap Frog, is going to parachute into Clifton Park Wednesday to celebrate Baltimore's role in the War of 1812.
Clifton Park is celebrating the Star-Spangled Sailabration with re-enactors on horses, tours of the historic Clifton Mansion, and discussions about what happened during the War of 1812.
There will also be exhibits outlining the history of the war, including replicas of uniforms, weapons and a troop roster. An unexploded British bomb that was recovered from Baltimore harbor will also be on display.
The event is free and runs from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Navy Leap Frogs will parachute into the park around noon.
