BALTIMORE (AP) - Shark Week begins Monday at the National Aquarium in Baltimore.
The aquarium says in a statement that it will have shark-themed events and activities throughout the week as a result of a partnership with the Discovery Channel, which begins its Shark Week programming Sunday.
It will host behind-the-scenes chats using Facebook.
This is the third year the National Aquarium has partnered with the Discovery Channel to raise awareness about sharks.
