Drivers with disabilities will be required to pay for parking in Mount Vernon later this month.
It's part of the City's Project Space program.
The cost to park will be the same for drivers with and without disabilities and time limits for all meters will be expanded to four hours.
40 single space parking spots and 75 meters will be lowered to comply with the latest Americans with Disabilities Act standards.
Drivers with disabilities will have to start paying for parking on October 30.
