BALTIMORE - Two more of the puppies taken from terrible conditions in a Baltimore home are sick.
Thirty-three puppies were taken from the Southwest Baltimore home last week. Twenty of those puppies were taken to the Maryland SPCA, and that's when it was discovered two of those puppies were sick with parvo.
Parvo attacks the puppies’ intestinal track, and as soon as it was discovered they received treatment. It's estimated it will be about $5,000 to save these two puppies.
The Maryland SPCA is asking for donation to the KB Fund . The fund is a 100 percent donor-funded program set up 10 years ago to help pay for the medical expenses of a dog named KB who was cruelly set on fire.
Now it helps pay for medical expenses of other sick dogs.
