Mayor's Super Bowl bet finally paid off

San Francisco maylor visits Baltimore

Baltimore, MD -  

Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake will welcome San Francisco mayor Edwin M. Lee to Baltimore Friday to fulfill their friendly wager made prior to super bowl XLVII. As part of the traditional super bowl bet, the mayors wagered a day of service in their opponent's city. Maylor Lee will help revitalize vacant lots, renovate a police station, and read to the third grade children at an area school.

The mayors will kick things off at Lexington market for cooking at Faidley seafood and then it was off to North Carey street where they will take part in power of dirt, the revitalization of a vacant lot. Painting and repairing of western district police station will be their third shop, finished by a third grade tutoring session at Cherry Hill elementary/middle school.
