Maryland Zoo's lion cubs have outdoor playdate

The lion cubs at the Maryland Zoo took advantage of Saturday’s warm weather to have an outdoor playdate.

Zookeepers invited the public to see Luke, Leia and Zuri play in the warm spring-like temperatures Saturday morning.

While the cubs are energetic and healthy, Zoo officials warned they tire easily and would not be outside for more than an hour or so. They are still babies after all.

Keepers say as the cubs become more familiar with the area and routine, they will be out on exhibit more often.
