The Maryland Zoo will announce the names of its grizzly bear cubs Friday.
"Big Bear" is now Nova, a Native American word which means "chasing butterflies," and "Little Bear" is Nita, a Native American word for "bear."
For the last couple of weeks, the public has been deciding between five sets of names for the bear cub sisters.
Nova and Nita beat out Maple and Juniper, Iris and Violet, Casper and Helen and Salish and Kootenai.
The two cubs were orphaned in Montana and came to the Maryland Zoo in December 2016.
