The Polanowski’s from Towson were upset they could not run before the crack of dawn or in the dark of night.

So they decided to take matters into their own pants, and now you’ll sparkle the next time you take a night time run.

As with all good ideas, this one was born in the basement. Tim fooled and fooled and fooled around with stuff until he nailed it!

He and his wife Julie invented pants that light up. Plus, you can wear them comfortably and you can wash them.

Fasten the belt buckle right under your belly button, push the button and the pants light up green. If you fall into a ditch, (sometimes it happens) or if you feel unsafe, you can click on a button, your pant lights turn red and an alarm sounds.

Tim and Julie are keeping this all local. They are producing the pants in Pigtown. They have Baltimore's Weiss PR helping them.  And they're planning a Kickstarter campaign that will being on Nov. 14.
