Hyundai Hope on Wheels gave a $50,000 grant to Johns Hopkins to go toward pediatric cancer research.
The money was presented to the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center's Division of Pediatric Oncology.
The center was chosen because of its proven track record of caring for children with pediatric cancer. The money will be used to improve care and increase treatment options for children with cancer.
A Handprint Ceremony was held during which the handprints of Baltimore-area cancer patients were painted on a white 2016 Hyundai Tuscon. This is the Hyundai Hope on Wheels hero vehicle to commemorate their fight against the disease.
