Casino officials said many of those who attended over the weekend visited following the Navy-Ohio State football game Saturday at adjacent M&T Bank Stadium. Thousands of more are expected to check out Maryland’s fifth casino following Sunday’s Ravens-Bengals game and during the Star-Spangled Spectacular, the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the national anthem that runs downtown from Sept. 10-16..
“We’re off to a very positive start and, despite the strong demand, there are no lines to get into the casino,” said Horseshoe Baltimore Senior Vice President and General Manager Chad Barnhill.in a statement. “We look forward to continuing to build on our city-integrated approach by complementing the many great existing attractions throughout Baltimore.”
