BALTIMORE (WMAR) - Good Friday is a day that different denominations recognize in their own ways, but Catholics generally mark the day by practicing the stations of the cross.
There are 14 stations dedicated to commemorate of the death of Jesus Christ.
The observance is usually held inside a church, but one group took to the pavement of downtown Baltimore.
The 27th Annual Good Friday Stations of the Cross for Justice started in front of City Hall. The group did nine station stops that included the Block and War Memorial Building.
The event is sponsored by Pax Christi Baltimore
