The National Women’s Advocacy Group Ultraviolet is demanding Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake fire the city’s housing commissioner.

A petition with 35,000 signatures was hand-delivered to a representative of the mayor this afternoon.

The group says the "sex-for-repairs" scandal at some Baltimore public housing units mean commissioner Paul Graziano should be fired.

Nineteen women filed a federal lawsuit against the city last year. A settlement has set aside between 6 and 8 million dollars.

The women are seeking class action status in their lawsuit.
