Gilmor Elementary School is getting a colorful upgrade. Students pulled out paint brushes Wednesday to paint a mural in one of the school's hallways.

FutureCare Health Management Corp. asked community artist Jay Wolf Schlossberg-Cohen to help with the project.

Students, teachers, FutureCare staff and Schlossberg-Cohen worked together to draft the design and sketch the patterns on the walls.

"We want to do something more positive on the inside of the school, so when kids come into the school building it's an exciting place. It's a fun place. It's a safe place," said Holly O'Shea, Vice President of FutureCare.

FutureCare and Glimor Elementary had collaborated before. The group rebuild a nicer playground outside the school.
