Firefighters battled a 4-alarm fire at a vacant building in the Woodberry area of Baltimore.

The fire started around 9 p.m. Thursday in the 3600 block of Clipper Road, according to Baltimore City fire officials.

The 41st Street Bridge and southbound I-83 were shut down at Cold Spring Lane due to heavy smoke, but have since reopened.

The light rail at the Woodberry station remains closed as of Friday morning.

In a briefing to the media, fire officials said more than 120 firefighters battled the fire. Crews worked on the building's exterior since it had been vacant for several years. Baltimore County volunteer companies assisted.

No injuries have been reported, and no other buildings were affected.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
