BALTIMORE (WMAR) - Crews have began moving asphalt to repair a 60-inch water main break on Charles and 20th Streets.
The main will take several days to repair.
The Department of Public Works announced on Thursday that the water flow had been reduced enough where crews were able to begin pumping water.
Also, Charles Street north of Penn Station to North Avenue is reopened.
Baltimore Gas and Electric crews will also be on the scene as precaution and to begin returning service to some residents who are without service.
