The story of "Miracle Molly," the dog hit by a train back in January, won some money for BARCS in a Petco contest, but the pup still in the running to help the shelter that saved her life.

Molly was hit by a train and found on the tracks by Amtrak Officer Kevin McMullen. She survived her injuries but lost one of her legs. Officer McMullen visited Molly during her recovery and decided to adopt her.

She now visits schools to teach children how to approach and respect dogs, and is one of 54 winners in the 2016 Petco Foundation Holiday Wishes campaign.
