Crews pull body from Baltimore Inner Harbor

BALTIMORE - Baltimore police and fire crews pulled a body from  the water at the Inner Harbor in Baltimore Wednesday morning.

Around 6:30 a.m. crews started searching the water near the Royal Sonesta Hotel in Baltimore.

The U.S. Coast Guard confirmed crews were searching for a person.

Witnesses at the scene reported seeing someone in the water and two runners went in to try to help him, but were unable to get him out.

Shortly after 7 a.m. crews pulled a body out of the water.

Investigators don't know how or why the man ended up in the water. He has not yet been identified.
