BALTIMORE - A three-vehicle accident involving a tractor trailer closed four lanes of southbound Interstate 95 at the Fort McHenry toll plaza, Maryland Transportation Authority officials said.
There were no injuries.
The accident caused a diesel fuel spill at the Fort McHenry toll plaza.
Accident cleanup was delayed because of the rain, officials said. Crews began applying sand to the interstate at about 8 p.m. to “sweep up,” the fuel, officials said.
Four lanes were closed while clean up was underway. Lanes were reopened to traffic Tuesday night.
