BALTIMORE - Construction will shut down a portion of the Jones Falls Expressway this weekend, according to the Baltimore City Department of Transportation.
All southbound will be closed at Guilford Avenue from 10 p.m. Friday, June 6 until 5a.m. Monday, June 9, for concrete repair work. Traffic will be detoured onto Guilford Avenue then to eastbound Baltimore Street. Motorists should follow Baltimore Street to President Street to reach the end of the expressway.
The left southbound lane of the JFX will also close between 28th Street and Pleasant Street. The closures are expected to cause heavy delays heading into Baltimore throughout the weekend.
