The community had the chance to speak out Tuesday night after another six schools in Baltimore have been designated to be shut down.

School system officials are recommending closing four elementary/middle schools including Coldstream Park, William Pinderhughes, Rognel Heights, and Dr. Carter Godwin Woodson Elementary/Middle School.

They are also looking into closing two middle/high schools including Friendship Academy of Engineering and Technology and Knowledge and Success Academy.

A public hearing was held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday night at the city school's headquarters on North Avenue.

The school board is set to vote on the plan to close those schools at another meeting, one week from Tuesday.
