BALTIMORE - "Calypso," a green sea turtle at the National Aquarium got a new home in the National Aquarium today.
A harness, tarp and a small crane helped moved the green sea turtle into the aquarium's brand new exhibit this morning.
It's a sign "Blacktip Reef" is almost complete.
ABC2 has been following the exhibit's progress closely and this is a big step.
"Calypso" is the first animal released into the tank. By the end of July there will be 12-hundred animals in the tank.
"Blacktip Reef" replicates the coral reefs found in the tropical waters off parts of Africa, Asia and Australia.
