Beer lovers with a thirst for history can stop by the Baltimore Museum of Industry’s annual beer tasting Thursday.

Heavy Seas founder Hugh Sisson will host the longstanding event, offering a tasting of his favorite beers paired with beer cocktails and food samplings infused with brews from the local alehouse.

Claire Mullins, director of marketing and events at the museum, said the yearly tasting is a “natural pairing with the Museum of Industry because we show how innovation fuels ongoing process.”

“We’re talking about the history of brewing, which is a proud history in Baltimore,” Mullins said. “It’s a really fun event.”

Tickets are still available online for $40, but are expected to sell out. The event runs from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
