BCPS students shop with a cop

BALTIMORE - Baltimore City Public Schools police spread holiday cheer Saturday when they took 71 elementary and middle school students shopping as part of their annual Shop-with-a-Cop program.

Officers raised $7,100 for the project and each student received a $100 gift card to use at the Super Walmart in Glen Burnie.

Students were picked up at home, treated to breakfast and driven with lights flashing and sirens blaring to Walmart where they shopped with officers.
