A dog hit by a train is seriously injured and now BARCS is asking for help covering her medical bills.

BARCS posted on its Facebook page that Molly ran into a tunnel right before a train entered. The train wasn't able to stop in time and hit the dog. An emergency alert to stop all incoming trains was issued and the driver went to see how Molly was doing.

The dog was seriously injured but she was still alive. Amtrak and CSX stopped all trains through that tunnel as they waited for Baltimore City Animal Control to arrive.

They took Molly to BARCS and she was transported to an emergency vet because she had lost so much blood. Because of the severity of her injuries, caring for Molly is expensive and BARCS is asking for donations to help with Molly's care.

If you want to help you can make a donation to Franky Fund for Medical Care.
