At 14 years old, Lecha Guy is making a name for herself in business world.
The Western High School student is a henna tattoo artist and is one of nine winners of Baltimore's Teen Business Challenge.
Guy was awarded $5,000 for her business and she has already seen success. She earned about $300 at the African American Heritage Festival in August.
Guy was at Mayor Catherine Pugh's press conference Wednesday and shared how this business venture got started.
"The reason why I started doing henna is because when I was 10 years old, I always wanted a henna tattoo and I had never got one," Guy explained. "So, I came up with a solution, I can do it myself."
The Teen Business Challenge is a competition that focuses on inspiring young people to create their own businesses.
