The Baltimore Teachers Union votes to ratify a new contract.
The three-year deal with the school board ensures teachers' health care benefits through the end of 2019.
It also provides them with a one-time stipend of 1% of their 2016-2017 salaries.
In a statement, they say they're still discussing with the school system about a cost of living adjustment for this school year.
The ratification received more than 90% support.
