Baltimore remembers Sandy Hook

BALTIMORE - Community leaders and concerned residents held a vigil at a northeast Baltimore church to mark the one-year-anniversary of the deadly Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.

Speakers including Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake and representatives of MOMS Demand Action for Gun Sense in America gathered at the Cathedral of the Incarnation to remember the 26 lives lost on December 14, 2012 as well as the thousands of lives taken by gun violence each year.

The program ended with a bell ringing ceremony honoring the victims.
