BALTIMORE, Md. - A 20-year-old Baltimore man is facing murder charges after initially being picked up by police on unrelated gun charges.
Avery Manual Little, 20, of the 5200 block of Denmore Avenue, was charged Wednesday with illegal possession of a firearm and four related charges, according to online court records.
After Little was in custody, officers discovered evidence that suggest he was involved in a deadly shooting near his home the previous day , a Baltimore Police spokesman said.
Little is now facing charges in connection with the Jan. 28 shooting in the 5200 block of Denmore Avenue, the same block as Little's current address.
Derrill Crawley, 25, whose last known address was in the 300 block of Grantley Avenue, died the the day after the shooting as a result of his injuries, according to police.
