Baltimore Police identify protesters arrested outside FOP conference

Baltimore Police released the names of the 12 people arrested Sunday night for protesting outside the Maryland Fraternal Order of Police conference. 

The protesters chained themselves to a railing outside the conference, held at the Hyatt Regency hotel downtown.

After being asked to leave the private property by hotel security and refusing to do so, several members of the protest group were arrested. Officers and officials from the fire department cut the chains and took the remaining people into custody.

They will be charged with trespassing, police said. 

They are:

  • Justin Johnson, 18, Ellicott City           
  • Samuel Didnato, 24, Federal Hill
  • Brendan Orsinger, 34, Washington, D.C.
  • Marcella Largess, 30, Baltimore
  • Payam Omid Sohrabi, 26, Columbia
  • Tracye Redd, 24, Washington, D.C.
  • Jonathan Lykes, 26, Washington, D.C.
  • Asha Ransby-Sporn, 22, Chicago
  • Margaret Rice, 21, Baltimore
  • Kerridwen Rice, 39, Montgomery County
  • Lenora Knowles, 27, Baltimore
