Neighbors are outraged after a wave of crime in their community, and Monday night many gathered for a crime walk. More than 200 people got together to show criminals they’re watching.

Baltimore Police Commissioner Kevin Davis announced his plan at the walk to increase patrols.
Davis said he’s not just increasing regular patrols in South Baltimore, he’s launching a decoy unit. The unit is made up of young plain-clothes officers newly graduated from the academy.
The idea is they will see the juveniles committing crimes and arrest them on the spot.
Davis says there’s a small group that keeps causing trouble, committing crimes that have the community up in arms.
"They will be well-trained officers, deployed very specifically in areas where we are being hit repeatedly with violent juvenile repeat offenders. They’re very very real," said Commissioner Davis.
He also said there will be enhanced visible police presence in the neighborhood through the holiday season.
