Baltimore officials to host health clinic celebration following break-ins

BALTIMORE (AP) - Baltimore officials are hosting a day of appreciation for a city health clinic that's had a rough month.
 
The Baltimore City Health Department is holding the event on Friday at the Eastern Health Clinic.
 
Its staff offers an array of health services for more than 30,000 patient visits a year.
 
 
The event comes after the clinic experienced multiple break-ins earlier this month. The break-ins resulted in property damage and stolen items.
 
The clinic provides services a wide variety of services. They include help for sexually transmitted infections, HIV/AIDS testing, family planning, maternal and infant health and immunizations. The clinic also provides services to help with, asthma, senior care, cancer screening and lead poisoning prevention services.
