A judge will hear a lawsuit from food truck owners who are opposed to a Baltimore City law that keeps them from businesses that sell similar food.

On Thursday, a judge denied the city's motion to dismiss the suit.

The group of food truck owners is challenging the constitutionality of the law that makes it illegal for mobile vendors to operate within 300 feet of any brick-and-mortar business that sells primarily the same product or service.

Food truck vendors say this law has made it impossible for them to stay in business.
