Baltimore firefighters were called to a fire at a vacant home in the 5600 block of Govane Avenue Tuesday afternoon.
The fire happened around 1:15 p.m., the Baltimore City Fire Department said. When crews arrived, they found a vacant two-story single family home, with heavy fire coming from the second floor.
The fire was extinguished and placed under control in about 40 minutes.
There were no injuries, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
