The Baltimore City Council is expected to hold an oversight hearing on the police academy's training and graduation procedures.
This comes after local law enforcement officials raised concerns calling cadet training "less adequate" and "insufficient in staffing and resources."
Officials are asking for improvements to training procedures and recruiting standards.
The City Council hearing is scheduled for Feb. 13.
