The Maryland Zoo's baby giraffe now has a name.
Meet Julius, his name means "youthful, downy-bearded" and represents his bloodline with his father Caesar.
Julius was born at the zoo last week and has been getting specialized care while battling health issues.
He received a plasma transfusion Saturday from an adult giraffe at the Columbus Zoo.
Veterinarians will continue to monitor Julius closely.
