Community activists from all over Baltimore came together Monday to discuss peace in the city.

The Baltimore Trauma Response Team and the Northwest Baltimore Community Coalition hosted the citywide peace summit. They spent the night talking about solutions for topics like racism and unemployment.

"And I ask the question, where's officer friendly?" John Holmes asked. "We need police to interact with the children. I know there are some in the Baltimore school system, but overall in the city, we need that communication. We need the power program to come back. Let justice prevail."

Reverend Doctor Andrew Humphrey hosted the event. Attendees are hoping they've taken a step closer to uniting Baltimore.
