Baltimore City Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Friday October 12 in South Baltimore.
Investigators say at 5:00 p.m, a motorcycle was traveling westbound in the 1300 block of W. Patapsco Avenue. They believe the rider, a 47-year-old man lost control before crashing.
The motorcycle rider and his passenger, a 34-year-old woman were taken to an area hospital for treatment. The passenger later died from her injuries.
Baltimore Police Crash Team detectives leading the investigation say there were no other vehicles involved in the crash.
