At least a dozen people frantically called Baltimore police to repot a bull, no a steer, eh, maybe a cow? that ran down North Avenue last week.
The bull escaped from a slaughterhouse on Pennsylvania Avenue before running amuck downtown.
One caller thought it had escaped from the zoo.
Another caller said the bull nearly charged him while he was sitting in his car.
Officers eventually shot and killed the bull Friday morning at the intersection of Charles and Biddle streets along Mount Vernon.
