If you are looking for live music, food vendors, and fun look no further than the 51st annual Fells Point Fun Fest.

The festival started back in the 1960's, so the neighborhood association could raise money and show how important Fells Point is. At the time there were plans to have a freeway run through it.

Obviously, it worked and Fells Point is still here!

Now, 51 years later Rick Johnson with the neighborhood association says there is plenty to look forward to for this year's festival.

All restaurants are pushing their business out onto the streets so you can sit outside at cafe tables.

"On a regular day you can walk into fells point and you will bump into the owner of these stores, but this really is going to be a showcase of the neighborhood," said Johnson.

All the businesses are independently owned, and Johnson says he hopes the festival gives people a reason to keep coming back to Fells Point.

But there is more than food and drinks to look forward to! Johnson said there is plenty of activities for kids like pumpkin painting, a children's area, stilt walking, other fun things for kids to do.

The event starts at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The live music will be done at 8:00 p.m., but there is still lots of fun to have all night long!
