2-alarm fire forces evacuation of 2 Baltimore City homes

BALTIMORE, Md. - Flames spread through three Baltimore City townhomes early Monday, leading to the evacuation of two of the homes.

The third townhome was vacant at the time of the fire, officials said.

Around 3:47 a.m. firefighters were called to the 1000 block of N. Broadway in Baltimore. The fire was elevated to a second alarm.

Residents made it out of the burning homes safely, according to Capt. Roman Clark.

It was not immediately clear which house the fire started in, Clark said.
