ANNAPOLIS, Md. - An Annapolis woman was assaulted Monday evening for not picking up her dog's poop.
Annapolis police responded to the 1400 block of Tyler Avenue at 6:30 p.m. after reports came in that Tameka Wright, 36, had gotten into an argument with her neighbor for not picking up her pet's feces.
During the argument, police said Wright took a kitchen knife and cut her neighbor, causing a small laceration in the victim's hand.
Wright was charged with first- and second-degree assault, possession of a dangerous weapon and reckless endangerment.
Wright was arrested and taken to Jennifer Road Detention Center where she was being held on $65,000 bond.
