A Pennsylvania woman was cited on a state weapons charge after TSA officers found a stun gun designed to look like a cell phone in her carry-on bag at BWI airport on New Year's Day.
A TSA officer spotted something suspicious inside the carry-on bag of a McSherrystown, Pa. woman as it went through an X-ray machine at a security checkpoint at BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport Wednesday, TSA officials said.
The officer discovered a pink stun gun designed to look like a cell phone, according to TSA officials.
The woman was allowed to catch her flight to Los Angeles after she was cited and disarmed, TSA officials said.
