It was early morning on Sept. 18, 2015 when Anne Arundel County Police were called to the area of Arundel Village Park in Brooklyn.
Once police arrived on scene, they found 21-year-old Michael John Compton. Witnesses told detectives that five men were involved in Compton's murder. In addition, Compton was robbed of a gun in his possession. Despite witnesses' statements, the case has grown cold.
As the one-year anniversary draws near, Anne Arundel County detectives are hoping someone who has information will come forward and help close this case. Anyone with information is asked to call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7-LOCK UP.
