ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The westbound span of the Bay Bridge reopened Monday following a late morning accident.
According to the State Highway Administration, the accident occurred around 10 a.m. and involved two vehicles.
Westbound US Route 50 was temporarily closed in the wake of the crash and reopened shortly after 11 a.m., according to Maryland Transportation Authority. There were no immediate reports of injuries.
Delays were ongoing as of noon, however, with congestion starting about five miles from the Bay Bridge at exit 42 onto MD Route 18.
