ANNAPOLIS - Family and friends are getting ready to say goodbye to a local Marine killed during a training exercise in Nevada.
A viewing for Lance Corporal William Taylor Wild is set for today at Barranco and Sons Funeral Home on Ritchie Highway.
Police are expecting a large crowd and will be directing traffic during the visitations.
There could be delays on Northbound Route 2 near Robinson Road from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Lance Corporal William Taylor Wild was one of seven young Marines killed last week when a mortar exploded.
The 21-year-old Severna Park High School graduate joined the Marines in 2010 and served in Afghanistan in 2011.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, and Lance Corporal Wild will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery next week.
