Three men arrested in Anne Arundel County robbery

Anne Arundel County - Three men were charged with robbery after soliciting scented oils from two victims in Anne Arundel County. 

Police arrested Delroy Johnson, 21,Calvin Savoy, 18, and Charles Sheffield, 18, all of Glen Burnie, Thursday afternoon. 

The arrest stems from a a prior robbery where officers responded to the  intersection of Crain Hwy. and Wellham Ave.

Upon arrival, the victims, both 21 and 17, were walking along the 6900 block of Glen Ridge Circle when they were confronted by the three suspects. 

One of the men said he  wanted to buy a bottle of scented oil from them. A victim was wearing a garment that contained oils that he sells.

During the discussion, another suspect accused a victim of stealing a cell phone and struck him in the face.

The other suspects began rifling through the victims pockets stealing their property before fleeing on foot. 

The victims were able to positively identify the suspects and retrieve the victim's stolen property. 

 Johnson was charged with theft under $1,000.00 and suspects Savoy and Sheffield were charged with theft under $100.00.
