ARNOLD, Md. - A woman, who was found dead on the grounds of a golf course in Arnold, showed signs of hypothermia, Anne Arundel County police said.
Police said a final cause and manner of death of Diana Hester, 49, of the 1300 block of Farley Court in Arnold, has yet to be determined by the Office of the State Medical Examiner. Multiple tests, including toxicology results may take several weeks to finalize, police said, but there are no signs of foul play.
Police said at approximately 7:18 a.m. Wednesday, a man walking his dog discovered Hester lying on the grounds of the golf course near the 15th hole tee box at Bay Hills Golf Club.
Due to the nature of the incident, police said their homicide unit took over the investigation. It is unknown how long the body was there before being discovered, but it appears to have been several hours, police said.
