Police make arrests in Medicine Shoppe robbery

BROOKLYN, Md. - Anne Arundel County Police arrest four suspects after a Medicine Shoppe pharmacy robbery Monday afternoon in Brooklyn.

Police say officers and detectives were arriving at the store located in the 5500 block of Ritchie Highway to a hold up alarm when they witnessed two suspects trying to conceal their identities with different clothing.

According to police, both suspects then tried to enter a car that was nearby with two other people inside.  Police were able to detain all four suspects.

Police found numerous prescription medications that had been stolen along with the weapon that was used in the robbery.  Drugs stolen included Oxycontin.

The gun police recovered was a black pellet gun that had a realistic appearance.

Police arrested Hikeem Rashad Johnson, 24; Nakia Monique Vass, 31; Ashley Diona Dunston, 31, and Keisha Towan Kosh, 39 all from Baltimore.

The four suspects were arrested and charged with robbery and related offenses.
